TarWheels Up In The Rankings!

The NWBA's tournament selection committee released two new ranking on March 9th in which The TarWheels are included. These rankings, The 2012 Division III March Rankings, and The 2012 Division III National Tournament Seeding both have The Carolina TarWheels up a spot from last months rankings to now 3rd in the nation! The TarWheels had dropped to fourth in February after two losses in Lexington, before that The TarWheels had been ranked 1st in Division III since the first ranking was released.

The Team is proud to have moved back up a spot, and are looking forwards and extra motivated to travel to Colorado Springs on March 21st to compete in the national tournament! Thanks to the support and donations of the sponsors and participants of The TarWheels Golf Classic last week, a large portion of the funds necessary to travel has been displaced and the team will be making it's first appearance and attempt at a national championship!
